I love to knit and find doing so very soothing. Having my hands busy makes me more patient when I need to be somewhere I don’t want to be, for one thing, plus I have trouble just sitting around in general! (Unless, of course, I have a book in my hand—then I can sit for eons!) I like sports but can’t only sit and watch them, so handwork is my go-to.
But the courage and wiliness and determination displayed by these knitters is a whole other dimension to the art of plying two needles for a good cause! Read about their brave story here!
