There’s a new baby coming for a special couple, and I was thrilled that they welcomed the idea of a quilt from me. I had such fun designing this! It’s not perfect, but my one of my quilting gurus calls those mistakes humility blocks. The Mother Goose embroidery designs are vintage (love embroidering!) It’s the first time I’d tried the pinwheels from half-square triangles and humility or not, they feel cheerful to me.
Speaking of cheerful, does anything do a better job than polka dots?
