In a sea of angst-ridden books, she tackles pain with a deft hand, lacing it with fun and wit and characters who’ll stay with me. Her skill with the nuances of emotion and emotional growth is beautiful to experience. All the characters in this story feel like friends, and rooting for Harriet’s and Wyn’s second chance at love took me on a journey I won’t soon forget.
