I recently gave a bridal shower for a dear friend’s daughter, and one of our hostess gifts was an album in which we placed note cards from attendees giving the bride advice for a happy marriage or memories of life with her etc.
I didn’t have a pattern (so what’s new, right?) so had to fiddle around a bit figuring out how to make a cover for it. I took a plain pasteboard binder, covered it with quilt batting, then put it together from there. She’s really happy with how it turned out, and I had fun, so win/win, right?
